The Maternity Experience
You have come to the right place! Let me walk you through the process of having your photos taken by me. Whether it has to do with what to wear, how to pose, or which props (if any!) we should include in your portrait session--I will help you every step of the way! With the years of experience I have working with my clients on their sessions--I promise to make it easy and to help you feel confident and beautiful during your session. As a certified makeup artist and hair stylist who has worked for years in the Los Angeles and Orange County beauty industry, I will use my knowledge and understanding of beauty both during (and after!) your portrait session to ensure you look your best in your photos!

Get in touch and say hello! I love just chatting with people, so even if you are not ready to book just yet, don't be afraid to reach out and say hi! I would love to get to know more about you, your pregnancy, how far along you are, and what you are looking for in a maternity photographer. We can just chat for a bit and see if we are a good fit! I want you to feel comfortable and confident during your portrait session, so I feel this part is super important and not one we should skip! We can take our time and just get to know each other until you feel like you are ready to book your maternity portrait session with me!

2. Schedule Your maternity Session
Once you are ready to book, I will send you a copy of my contract with all the details of your maternity portrait session for you to sign. I will also send you an invoice for the non-refundable retainer to hold your session date. Once you sign the contract and pay the retainer, you are on my calendar! I promise not to give your spot to anyone else. I am officially your maternity portrait photographer on your scheduled day and time!
3. prepare for your maternity session
So now that you booked, what's next? Well this part is the fun part where we go over all the details of your maternity portrait session. Which maternity dress should you wear? Which shoes and undergarments work best when you are pregnant? Where in Orange County will we be doing the session? I love this part the most, because this is where I get to learn more about you and your style! I have a lot of amazing high-end luxury maternity gowns for you to choose from in various sizes from brands such as KH Fashion, Before & Ever, Reclamation, Fillyboo, Leah Maria Couture, Selkie, and more! Want to bring your own maternity outfits? Not a problem at all! Many of my maternity sessions are a mix of items I bring, and items my maternity clients bring to their session.
4. Your maternity Session
On the day of your maternity portrait session, plan on coming with full hair and makeup done. I also recommend having your nails done in light to medium colors (or french tips!) that aren't too vibrant to go with my photography style the best. During your session, I will help with quick touch ups when it comes to hair and makeup. This is where my experience in the beauty industry really makes a difference! We will go through a couple poses that I know work well for maternity photos, but if you want to try something different, don't be afraid to ask. I love trying new things! After we are done with your portrait session, we will part ways and I will get to work on culling your beautiful maternity photos!
5. your photographs
After your session, I download your images right away and start the process of finding the best ones. I then send you a proofing gallery of the best images from your session--all lightly edited--within a couple of days of your maternity portrait session. I don't like to keep my maternity clients waiting, I know you are excited to see your photos! After you receive your proofing gallery, you can pick your favorite images from your session that you would like to have fully-edited and delivered in your final gallery. I then spend a couple of weeks making sure all of your images for your final gallery are meticulously and carefully hand-edited for that highly polished and luxurious fine art look.

Your beautiful Pregnancy
I require a $500 retainer fee to book your maternity session date and time. The retainer fee goes towards your maternity portrait package payment. The remaining balance is due on the date of your session.
After your session, we will meet on zoom to go over some artwork options we can order from my professional printing labs for your walls. You will never forget how beautiful and stunning you were when you were pregnant, and you will love the way you look as art in your home!
