This mom wanted a family session for her and her children. She was looking for some gorgeous artwork she could put on her wall. We came up with a look with lots of neutral tones that complimented her home decor perfectly, and there were lots of genuine smiles captured.

Beautiful park in Anaheim hills
Candace wanted family photos with her children, and I was more than happy to do this session for this beautiful mom! She went with my vision and let me style the whole session for her family. I brought floral headpieces to go with her look, and drew inspiration from Rococo Art for poses.

This gorgeous mama wanted to take family photos with her husband and little girl, and she wanted a couple photos of just her sweet girl by herself since it was close to her daughter's 2nd birthday. The number 2 balloon was just the perfect touch for this session!

stunning wall art you will love seeing in your home
Don't be shy, please say hi! I really don't mind answering any of your questions. Let me know what you are looking for when it comes to an Orange County family photographer--I am here for you! Are you wondering if your kids are at a good age for a family session? Does your husband have to be in them too (the answer is "no" btw--I love doing mommy and me sessions and do these all the time!)? Can you bring your own outfits to the session instead of using mine? Whatever you are wondering, it is ok to ask. Just send me a message--I am here to listen to you and to help you figure out what it is that you need!
1. Say Hello
2. Schedule Your Session
Whenever you feel ready, we can move forward with the booking process. We discuss some dates, and once we find one that works for both of us, I send you my contract and an invoice for a non-refundable retainer to hold your date. After you sign and pay the invoice, that's it! You are officially booked and on my calendar for a family portrait session at a beautiful outdoor location in Orange County! It's that easy!
3. PLanning your session
After you are officially booked, I help you figure out what to wear and how to style everyone for your family portrait session. We text back and forth for this part to make it easy on everyone. You let me know what your needs are, how old your children are, some details about everyone's sizing, and then we pull some looks for your session that will work for your family, and you let me know if you love the looks, or if you are looking for something a little different. You are also welcome to bring your own outfits if you want! Many of my family portrait sessions are a mix of items I bring, and items my clients bring to the session!
4. Your Portrait Session
On the day of your portrait session, we will meet at the shoot location and get ready very quickly. Mom should come in full hair and makeup, and children should come with clean hair that has been washed and FULLY dried before the session. I recommend children having their hair blown straight to help smooth the cuticles unless the child has naturally curly hair. I will bring everything I need to do any last minute touch ups when it comes to hair and makeup--just let me know what you need help with when it comes to makeup! We then take some photos and will do a couple of posed shots as well as some candid shots.
5. your photographs
After your session, I cull your photos and send you a proofing gallery of the best images from your session, which are lightly edited for proofing. You choose your favorite ones, and I get to work on getting those family photos fully-edited for you using a very meticulous and detail-oriented hand-editing process. If there is any specific editing requests you have, just let me know! I am happy to accommodate the editing requests I usually get. If it can be done, it will be done! This part is complimentary, so you are welcome to just let me know exactly what it is you want. If you are not sure, I will go with my usual process, which still results in highly-polished images.
